With two master's degrees (LL.M. and Dutch law) in Corporate & Insolvency Law, Amir Adl Rudbordeh possesses in-depth legal expertise in corporate law and business structuring. Additionally, he is the author of a comparative law book on European insolvency law.
He built his experience starting in 2016 at the international law firm Clifford Chance, where he worked in the transaction practice (including M&A, Banking, Capital Markets, and Securitizations). Additionally, he gained project management experience, with a special focus on sustainable energy projects.
After joining De Nederlandsche Bank (Dutch Central Bank), he specialized in restructuring and financial supervision of banks and insurers in the Netherlands and Europe. In this role, he led the legal team and collaborated with (inter)national policymakers such as the European Commission, the AFM, and EIOPA.
Within ripcord, he has further expanded his experience in financial law & corporate law by facilitating various M&A transactions in sectors such as IT, fintech, manufacturing industry, construction, and chemicals, as well as providing compliance advice and regulatory support to financial enterprises (such as fintech companies, banks, crypto initiatives, foreign investment fund managers (AIFMs), and family offices).
